I don't get it. This looks like a small colleges football stadium. With all these luxury seats, where are the "normal" fans going to sit? Maybe it's a good stadium, but doesn't look like a good place to see a baseball game.

I'd like to see some kind of a roof over the seats as well. Not really for the rain but for some shade.

I tried to do a search on this stadium as well, and only came up with that image. I know it's only a rendering showing the inside, and it appears there is no design for the exterior yet. But from what I make of the interior design and arrangment of levels, I'm picturing something a bit too generic for my tastes. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong and the stadium will be amazing. If Vegas can build awesome casinos, I'm sure they can do the same for ballparks. But plush box suites and size isn't going to make it the best stadium. The designers need to add some flavor that will make fans gain an appreciation for the stadium, as well as baseball's past.

Check out how the architects of Comerica Park gave a brand new stadium some authenticity.

Wolverine,

were they, I didn't know that I will say Comerica does look good, I am envious! but you guys can keep the Tigers, we just want your ballpark lol.

cityboi, Expos were playing in Puerto Rico, to sellouts, PR's governor wanted them to move down there permanently, but I agree DC, Portland would be heavier hitters in getting MLB, but hey it took St. Pete over a decade after building Tropicana Field to lure MLB.
