Here is the information concerning this Green Light Project! Construction has started with the utility relocations, and lane construction will start in January.

Looks like some pretty long turn lanes are going to be constructed.. Hopefully this helps the roads flow a lot better during rush hour.

Once the roadway construction starts I'll post images here.

This should really help; the great mystery is what took them so long to finally do this?? The traffic is ridiculous and it's been very unecessary; the simple addition to badly needed right turn lanes will help the flow tremendously. Thank you Green Light Plan!

Perkins/Acadian intersection improvements needs to start ASAP!!

Thanks all2neat

Man, it's been crazy. I wish they would have made S.Sherwood Forest Blvd. 6 lanes 25 years ago. And Coursey needs to be 6 lanes too. But yeah this is going to be a nightmare, but at least its something, Coursey is practically a freeway now. When they made the Bluebonnet ext. they created the way from one end of the parish to the other.

^ It's amazing what a short extension connecting Bluebonnet with Coursey has done! Pre-extension it was a joke as you had to drive down "tiny" Arnold Lane. The corridor really continues to grow! The amount of businesses/development has been impressive! Coursey Blvd has become the new hot-bed for LSU restaurants Chimes-East & Walk-On's. Connecting all of that with the Celtic Media Centre(near I-12/Airline); Mall of La; hospitals; Perkins Rowe, etc off Bluebonnet Blvd.....

It's almost the unofficial "Southeast BR Expressway"!
