Irby Street, Florence, SC     In its heyday (1950s-80s) and long before the motel became Florence Lodge (a SRO), the motel was well-known as Horne's Motor Lodge and included a detached popular Horne's Restaurant. a lounge area and swimming pool.  In the 1990s-2000s, Horne's became Country Hearth Inn & Suites, then Motel 6 with Horne's Restaurant serving an all-you-can-eat breakfast and lunch menu before Horne Restaurant burned down.
