Great pics (even though they took forever to load on a high speed connection). I made the mistake of viewing them on the mobile version with no image reduction. Love that zoom lens on the camera. Makes me want to upgrade (my camera & my computer).

...thanks flotown!!! I tend to forget (how selfish, eh?) that not all of our servers are the same. Thus, I took a little extra time to reduce this one...Enjoyed your news & pics of Florence Development Thread as well... Thanks for keeping us "far away" natives updated to our humble roots...Z

I have looked at every last one of your photographs. It was like taking a holiday to the wonderful, laid back South!

South Carolina is wonderful, beautiful and unhurried in any season. I believe you would like visiting it...though, I am only familiar with the Pee Dee, the Lowcountry & Grand Strand. I've never been farther than Aiken or Rock Hill...but that will change eventually.

Bill Clinton Street? Really?

Yep...a street in Lake City's industrial area is named for Bill...just off Hwy 52 & a real dirt road. LC loves/loved Bill probabaly because the town has a 70% black population who were & still are big supporters of Bill Clinton...My maternal grandparents (John & Queen Ester) are buried in the family plot in a cemetery in Lake City.
