So, with all these Midwest print newspapers announcing cuts and layoffs ( http://greatlakesguy.blogspot.com/2008/12/media-matters.html ), it got me thinking about my own media consumption habits, and how I first dismissed RSS, but now I check my feed page on my.yahoo.com multiple times a day.

Then I was wondering if there were any good local news, entertainment, whatever, blogs that I don't know about. Do you read any local blogs? What are they? Why do you like them?

I've got some local feeds on my RSS page, already. Chris Knape, GRBJ blog ( http://grbusinessjournal.blogspot.com/ , usually only active during economic conferences), GRPR ( http://gr-pr.blogspot.com/ ), Rapid Growth, Craigslist GR: Bicycles for sale, Great Lakes Guy ( http://greatlakesguy.blogspot.com , which just came back this week from a long hiatus).

Many of these I just came up on by chance, or one day I noticed they had the little RSS icon, so I added them.
