Clark Gas Station on West Fulton

Anyone know anything about when a gas station could potentially return to this spot? Any behind the scenes rumblings you are aware of?

Are you referring to the vacated station at the corner of Eastern and Michigan? Looks like people use it as a parking lot... not sure if they pay a monthly rate or not. Seen a number of cars For Sale sitting there and some students park there cars, grab bags and begin walking up Michigan more then a few times.

Why would a gas station return there?

So I don't have to go down to Admiral by GVSU and go in the tiny building and wait in the lottery line to pay before I pump.

Because the pumps and building are already there.

Because I need gas when its too cold to ride my bike to work downtown.

So I don't have to go down to the 7-11 on Lane if I want a humongous fountain drink.

Lots of admittedly selfish reasons, but mostly related to not wanting to bother with the Admiral under the S-curve.

Why wouldn't a gas station return there? Please inform me, because I'm ignorant on these things, and I'd like to learn.

The problem I have with the station by GVSU is that you cant pay at the pump.

Im not going to stand in line outside just to pay for gas after dark because the station is paranoid about being robbed and that they are too darn cheap to install new pumps so I can use my debit card!
