AT&T U-Verse

Recommended Posts

I remember seeing a thread a couple of months ago discussing AT&T U-Verse coming to Charlotte. My family received some info about AT&T U-Verse last week and I was trying to locate the thread but couldnt find it. The search feature didnt help at all. I looked in both the Charlotte Board and the Charlotte Coffeehouse Board. Anybody know where the thread went?

Chicago finally began receiving U-Verse service after AT&T and the City were able to reach agreements on where the equipment for the optical cables were going to be placed. Surprising enough AT&T went ahead with preparing the services in the suburbs (way to go Daley!) and leaving Chicago for nearly last.

We're going to struggle to decide which service to choose when we move to Charlotte, AT&T U-Verse or DirecTV and AT&T DSL.

AAAAAH! I want DirecTV for the NFL package but I want U-Verse for the Internet and better DVR service!

I couldn't find the thread you're referring to. I also believe that it was simply announced in the coffee house in a random thread, not one specific to U-Verse being offered here. You're welcome to discuss U-Verse in Charlotte in this thread.

FWIW, I read today that U-Verse is going to be hiking their prices across the board by $5 starting February 1st. So much for AT&T avoiding Time Warner's price raising tactics.
