Folks Im not making this up. An elderly man died of dehydration after getting lost in a maze of trash in his home. The man had trash in every room piled up to the ceiling, 10 years worth of garbage. He created an elaborate network of tunnels to get through the mess.

My favorite weird story of the week was the Conn. widow who hit a lotto jackpot with a ticket her husband bought on the day he died.

This isn't as uncommon as you might think... it seems every so often you here of something like this. There were reports a few years back where there was a resident in DC (Georgetown?) in a rowhouse that the floors actually collapsed due to where they had kept everything and similar to this guy had tunnels/pathways thru the building...

I hate to admit this, but when I cleaned my parent's house after mom's death, 2/3 of the basement was packed so tight I could barely squeeze thru. It took me a 3 day estate sale, weeks of donating stuff, and 7 dumpster loads to clean out their house. The rest of the house appeared fine, I can see how it can get out of hand.
