Metropolitan areas where the economy is expanding!

4 posts in this topic

Yeah, it does seem as if the reality of RI's economy is taking hold in PVD. Even if you read the RI Forum here on UP it seems a little down compared to how it used to be. Hartford has so many advantages from a business point of view. I think once the economy starts to rebound, Hartford will be in prime position to really rebound as a city. The region is already one of the best in the nation. It's great to see that our economy is actually growing though in this time of national recession. This should bode very well for Hartford and CT's future. It's nice to be on a growing cities list, even if its only talking about business!

That is pretty crazy how certain areas are close together, yet one is bad and one is good.

Springfield, Worcester, and Providence are struggling. Looks like New Haven, Fairfield, and Westchester counties are down too. But yet Hartford and Boston are improving. Looks like my next job is in one of those two.

It's good to see Hartford improving in these tough economic times.
