Board approves Montgomery Motor Speedway permit

On Jan. 15, 2009, the Montgomery Board of Adjustment has voted to approve the third request to re-establish the Montgomery Motor Speedway Thursday evening despite local neighborhood's objections. The track's new owner Bobby Knox has raised the issue again after the previous last attempt in October 2008 failed. 20 to possibly 30 jobs are to be created, this is not in the website report but heard this on the TV report. May bring travelers from all over the place that may spend money on hotels, restaurants, shopping, etc.
