Don't know if it's been mentioned but Google recently linked Earth into its Maps product. In other words, you don't need the Earth standalone app to view and enjoy these fine efforts...

Yeah, I just noticed that today. My project will get a few more eyeballs which is always a good thing. I knew this was going to happen one day, I just thought it was a few years away and not now.

I don't know if anyone's still working on this project or not, but I've started on modeling the Ledyard.
