Business is booming but Founders still wants a financial break for expansion.

Standard business procedure in normal times but whether the city can afford it during tough recessionary times doesn't seem to phase the owners. Maybe they see stimulus $'s flowing to GR to afford it.

Usually in these situations, what the city loses in property taxes they will make up for in city income tax (which is where the city gets a big chunk of its revenue anyway). What will be interesting is how the county responds to this request, since the county relies heavily on property taxes, not income tax.

Yes, very interesting as Founders is going to stay put (and will probably expand) regardless. Their location is a goldmine and they know it.
