Impact Fees

aboutmetro

Recommended Posts

This is where the local government collects a fee - flat fee for residential, per square foot for everything else - to pay for the cost of widening roads, libraries, jails, water, sewer, public safety, 911 and parks. In Georgia, the money can only be collected and spent for those things, and only for capital costs. Schools are not one of the things that growth can be charged for. What are areas that impact fees might have helped pay for? About Development Impact Fees (DIFA).
