This is the grant the developer, in the city's name, applied for for the Creative Village. It's stated as going to Lynx because the TIGER grant is really meant for transit/transportation projects.

For those wondering about the Lymmo expansion elsewhere, take a look at www.lymmostudy.com.

Here are the preliminary alignments for expansion, including the Creative Village, east/west connection, and north/south connection.

Creative Village Update: Orlando Sentinel

Awesome, thanks for sharing. I thought with everything happening the way it is that Creative Village wouldn't have a chance -- completely forgetting that it's privately funded so no one can ruin it. I hope they do get it started this year and that there's something visible within a few years. I think this development and the proposed complex on the other side of I-4 will really complement the downtown SunRail stop.

According to tonight's Fox 35 news, they'll be deciding tomorrow (Monday) if they want to pay the $2 million.

According to this article, the decision has been made for Orlando to contribute as much as $4 million towards the demolition of the old Arena and affordable housing.

In response to some critics saying the city is too burdened by this contract, they should realize that this is as cheap as job creation and tax revenue as you can get -- once completed, $12-16 million per year.
