Yeah, those explosions don't look that big, but keep in mind they were 3 miles away. Imagine how big a blast has to be to be viewed from that distance. 0.01KT = 20,000 lb bomb. The largest conventional bomb the USA has in it's arsenal is the 15,000 lb bunker busting bomb that was last used to try and ferret out Osama Bin Laden in 2002 in the caves of Afghanistan so you get an idea how powerful this rifle is in comparison. That shell is 25% more powerful than the bunker buster.
