M Retail and Catalyst Partners are outgrowing their current space(s) and plan to spend $450,000 to renovate this two story building. In addition to seeking LEED Platinum, they plan to pursue Net Zero Strategies including the Living Building Challenge.

They are also looking at the possibility of adding an additional floor for loft condos, as well as the potential of building infill in the adjoining lot.

The project was awarded Brownfield status from the City of Grand Rapids.

R&T Cylinder Head Service was an interesting place. I took a cylinder head from an old Cummins diesel there a number of years ago. The place hadn't had a good cleaning in a long time. They did good work, reasonably priced on the head
