I know there was mention last month that the name may change, but why would we expect a surprise name at this point?  With no announcement, after going from "the venue" to 20ML, having all of their facebook ads and website 20ML and opening concerts in a week?  Color me skeptical I suppose...

Hardly anyone will see it with the lights that bright. I bet that accent and stage lighting will make it look very different.

Looks like the Marquee they are speaking of is the one that is above the stairs on the SE side.

There was a rumor that "20 Monroe Live" was not the final name, so the thought was that if that was true they wouldn't invest in a sign with a temporary name on it.

There was a photo on Lost and Found's Instagram account of a large bar / front desk (it doesn't say). Looks like it has a lot of character. I'm sure it'll look pretty cool when done:

I would have thought they would have a digital marquee, but i guess this one is more in line with the retro style they seem to be going for.  

 

I highly doubt it is going to be a black box theater.  With the long-held ambitions to make this a HOB, and with their affiliation with the HOB, I expect it to have lots of character and style.  These are by far my favorite type of venues to see concerts.  large crowd but intimate and with incredible acoustics.   But I am also pretty confident that they will want to have the place aesthetically pleasing inside as well with their intention to hold non-concert events.
