Maybe a sign. I was at the Huntersville Lowes this morning which has been one of their busiest stores. Given this is expected to be the first warm sunny weekend of the coming spring, this store would usually be slammed on Saturday morning. There were people there, but nothing like the long lines and packed parking lots that I would expect.

I don't know if it is a sign of the times, or just that we are awesome, but our bicycle shop has posted 20% growth over last year's monthly revenue numbers every month since September. We were prepared to lay off some people, reduce spending, etc, but so far we have not had to.

Maybe bicycles are recession proof?
