Local Architecture & Planning Firms

The Spartanburg Section of the American Institute of Architects has criticized city leaders for not choosing a local firm to design the renovations for Stewart Park. While I have several thoughts about this action, it makes me wonder what other firms are based/have operations in Spartanburg.

McMillan Smith is the only one that I'm aware of.

So, what are some local planning/architecture/landscape architecture firms?

Sinclair Associates -Duncan, SC

The LandArt Design Group - Spartanburg, SC

I'm sure there are a couple more but there are two firms. Sinclair is an engineering firm that does some planning and the other is a Landscape Architecture firm which focuses on planning and design.

I can list quite a few. GP/N, Westmoreland Magarity and Pitts, Campbell Meek & Associates and others. I think Mr. Boggs is right on with his opinion. We need to support our local businesses now more than ever.

Interesting. What work have the done around town? The only one that I hear about is McMillan Smith.
