New city tool shows retail properties available downtown

8 posts in this topic

The city has unveiled a new website (hosted on the Downtown Alliance's site) that allows business owners/entrepreneurs to easily see what retail properties are available downtown. Each property even has its own pdf flyer, which must have been quite a task to put all of this together.

Example property:

A couple of interesting notes:

) They show 47 Commerce as "pending"

The city also had this with the announcement:

In the past two months, the following businesses have opened:

Madcap, 98 Monroe Center

Small Pallets, 40 Monroe Center, Suite 134

Ecouter Salon, 15 Ionia, Suite 100

Grand Rapids Family Credit Union, 87 Monroe Center

Taquitos, 327 S. Division

Unlocal Clothing, 62 S. Division

These storefronts have also been leased by the following:

80 Ottawa, Caf

I couldn't readily find this information on the city or downtown alliance websites. Could you provide the page source please.

Well, you can't say there aren't a large number of opportunities to expand retail downtown.

It's not crystal clear, but...click on the map to see the listings.

I like the "leased!" blocks that make it look like Stuff is Happenin'.
