I like it but it looks a lot smaller/shorter.  Looks like it went from 10-11 stories to 5.

It’s the same height (10-11 floors) and square footage (193,000 square feet) as before. There’s been no change to that. It’s just the angle of the image and how close it is to the building that makes it look shorter compared to the previous rendering. Don’t let it fool you. Lol.

This looks so much better than before.  It actually looks like a federal courthouse design.  Glad to see the odd looking cupola is gone.

Terrific design. It looks what I imagine a Federal Government building to look like.

 

Glad they changed it.

It also looks smaller being that it is set back from the road quite a bit.

The OKC attack forced all new federal buildings to be set back from where vehicles would be.

MUCH  better! Not breathtaking or skyline defining,  but very nice, and will be a good contrast to all the brick. Definitely dodged a bullet with that other design 

Incidentally SC  Smitty,  that cupola on top was the only thing I liked about the prior rendering, and would have liked to see that or something similar  here to top it off. But ill take it.

Only problem now is how to make a two dimensional building work...

I’m not sure of the height feet wise but federal courthouses have very high floor heights so I would definitely think so.

Yes. Underground beneath the courthouse.  70 spaces total.

This looks pretty nice! I hope they have a nice exterior lighting package to make this show off at night. If they had rendered this with some context, we could get a good reference for its size and placement in the urban fabric.

Something about the scale or position  of it right at the front edge of the building looked odd to me.  A feature from the old design that I think would have been nicer to keep was the colonnade on either side of the front entry.

Construction fencing starting to go up around the site. The building boom downtown has begun.  Expect more projects to start construction downtown over the next few months.  Better grab your ear plugs and hard hats.
