Admittedly, I have not been on the board as much lately, and certainly have not kept up much with goings on in the Bull City. But, I saw this morning's N&O article about 506 Mangum, and thought I'd post it.

Here is the condo website. The building is just outside the loop to the NE, and a short walk to the Carolina Theater and a little further from DPAC and American Tobacco. It opens in July 09 and prices start at about $160k for a 1BR.

A nice affordable urban flat like this is something I hope we will see more of in the Triangle downtown fringes, where the property values are a bit lower and larger scale development is not appropriate.
