Small Railroad near Charlotte

Some people built a small railroad near here where you can take a demonstration ride. They acquired a derelict steam locomotive from the NC mountains and restored it along with building the rest of the line so that it resembles travel from long ago. While there are other steam locomotives in NC, I like this one because it has not been converted to run on oil. It still burns shoveled coal and as a result there are flying burning cinders that add to the experience. The railroad is located in Denton, NC which is about 50 miles from Charlotte as the crow flies. The down side is that I think it is only open for rides a couple of times a year.
