Both buildings are great! I love the design of the Jefferson Pilot. For a newer building, I'm glad they bypassed the glass box style and put something more retro (and a hell of a lot more beautiful.)

What is interesting to me is that the Jefferson Pilot building, which was built in 1990, looks older in many ways than the Jefferson Standard building, which was built in 1923 I believe. I think they did a good job.

Venn Manor, located at 4142 Cass Avenue in Detroit's midtown, is just a few blocks south of Wayne State University. An $835,000 renovation completed in 2000 turned this beauty into six three-bedroom, two-bath condominiums.

It was an old Paul McCartney doll that my aunt had when she was younger. She had cut it's hair and done some other things to it. It was given to me a few years ago and I decided to sell it on ebay. One of the pictures I took of it looked so freaky that I decided to use it as an avatar and add the little wink for extra freakishness.

We're right in the middle of a blizzard that could bring up to 30 inches of snow to Providence by the end of the day Sunday. This pic is from Atwells Avenue on Federal Hill, taken at about 1am.

Is that center lane thing used for commuter traffic and goes with the flow of the commute?

The center lanes of I-5 are actually carpool lanes. It goes about 5 miles from downtown Seattle until it returns to 1 carpool lane in north Seattle. In the morning rush hour the carpool lanes switch and they head southbound into downtown.
