This are pics from close to where my mother's family is from.. the cemetery contains many members of my family. On the 2nd Sunday in August, a 'Decoration' is held here and people bring flowers out to the graves and quite a social event is held here. Decoration days often coincide with family reunions and picnics up in the park.

Houston

From 15 miles out:

This is one of the things I love about Houston. And I do mean LOVE! From 15 miles out, all you can see of Shreveport at night is the glow of city lights on the sky above the trees... no buildings, no nothing. You don't see Shreveport until you hit Shreveport, pretty much. Houston... well, you see it coming!! I love it.

The David Stott Building towers over State Street which traverses through the Capitol Park District of Downtown Detroit. The multimillion dollar renovation of the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel and Condos rises on the right along the Washington Boulevard median.
