Here is a rare shot of Charlotte, I found it when I was perusing through the webcams for today. This is looking West/Southwest from the government district:

The big "belt buckle" is the Westin Hotel by the Charlotte Convention Center and the tall building to the left in the distance is The Arlington and is purely residential.

Nice update MARK, that pic really gives a good view of the facade of the building, I didn't expect it to be as white as that.

If it's the one under construction, it's "1 King West" which will be a condo/hotel. Also probably the thinnest building for a building that height.

Thanks monsoon! It is an original, but I looked in a book at a hair salon and found virtually the same photograph taken by a photographer a year later. I was happy to find the copyright date was after the photography class I had taken this photograph for. For kicks, here is another one of the sculpture Uptown that someone decided to later spraypaint. Idiots. I plan to do an oil painting of this.
