Shiny new pavement on the nearly completed road construction work on "The Mixing Bowl" in Southfield, Michigan.

This area is the I-696, M-10 Lodge and Northwestern Highway interchange.

I read in news articles that this area has an average traffic count of over 400,000 vehicles per day. Needless to say there are a lot of happy people now that it's near completion.

Louisiana Boardwalk, Bossier City, LA (across the river from Shreveport)

I took over 200 photos down at the Boardwalk today, and here are a couple from the main plaza area:

This is what should have been built near downtown Richmond or in Shockoe Bottom than building Short Pump.

These people are standing in front of a block of dilapidated buildings currently undergoing deconstruction. On this site will rise, 3 PNC Plaza, a 23-story mixed-use tower that is designed to meet LEED "green construction" standards.
