Every fall Plymouth, MI puts up neat looking scarecrows around Kellog Park in the center of downtown. It doesn't look like they have all been put up yet but here are the better ones. Last fall there was an awesome one that they made look like Napolean Dynomite.

I've been on the 28th floor of that large glass John Hancock-looking (Boston, not Chicago) building on the far right. My oldest brother used to be an IT guy at Owens-Illinois and had an office overlooking the bay there. You could see Detroit, Put-in-Bay, and Sandusky from there on clear days. It was pretty cool.

Here is a shot of part of the new RiverPlace development being constructed along the western bank of the Reedy River in Downtown Greenville. A new 8-story residential tower has been proposed for the peak of a small hill behind the Hampton Inn & Suites, shown here:

Here's a shot of construction in Providence's Capital Center district, on the northern edge of downtown.

The building under construction in the foreground is the Waterplace Intercontinental condos, a two-tower complex of 17 and 19 stories.

The blue glassy midrise poking out behind Waterplace is the ten-story headquarters of Gtech corporation, scheduled to be completed later this month.

The highrise with the green roof behind Waterplace is the Westin Hotel, and the tower under construction to the left is a slightly taller sister tower to the Westin, housing more hotel rooms and condos.

It is also interesting to note that twenty years ago this would have been a view of nothing but surface parking and railroad yards. Every building in the picture is recent construction, a neighborhood being built from the ground up.
