Great shot. The land of four seasons. I only get to see pretty Autumn pics, we dont get Fall foilage like that down here.

The colors are quickly dying off and for the most part it is definately past peak for the season. There are some really vibrant colors that came late though but there are also a lot of crustiness in a lot of the trees. I don't think Charlotte gets fall color as good as our neighbors to the north in Virginia however.

Some vibrancy left:

Shreveport CBD skyline from atop the Horseshoe Casino parking deck. There was a really bright light source to my immediate left and over my head, so it really screwed with my shots. There are a couple little problems with this shot but it was the best I could do with that amount of light all around me. :D

Anyway, please enjoy...

And here's Shreveport's riverfront skyline at night, in all its neon glory. :) I could kick myself for not capturing more of the water, because it is so gorgeous with all the neon reflecting off it. But next time I will capture it.

These are photos of the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.

This was the first shopping area in the world designed with the automobile in mind. Many of the arcitecutral styles come from the sister city of Seville, Spain.

Every year there is a lighting ceremony on Thanksgiving night, that lights all the Christmas lights on the building.

I took some more shots of Shreveport's CBD skyline and riverfront skyline this evening, and here's a close-up crop from one of my riverfront shots.

Within the last 10-15 years, but mostly within the last 5-7 years, our riverfront has gone from being a deserted eyesore, to being full of tourists bringing money into the local economy.

Stuck in traffic on the Dan Ryan Expressway(I-90/94) a couple of miles outside of the loop.

Location on Google Maps

When you have a view like that outside of you car window, being stuck in traffic doesn't seem as bad! :D

Oh okay, I see. Wow, what a place to be stuck in traffic. Chicago has some of the best skyline views I've ever seen.
