Ketchikan, AK, a town of about 8,000 in the extreme SE "Inside Passage". Very, very neat town with no external road access:

I've been there quite a few times. I have family that lives there. It is interesting, but when you really get to know the place, depressing is what comes to mind. They get 200 inches of precipitation annually and only 2 weeks of sunshine year long. And they say Seattle is bad...
