jice 15 Report post Posted July 8, 2009 hmm... Metro Council passed (2nd reading) an apparently controversial amendment to the zoning at 2223, 2225, and 2227 10th Avenue South (in the Belmont area) to change zoning from R8 to SP. This is a residential neighborhood, as far as I know. R8 is (medium density residential, requiring a minimum 8,000 square foot lot and intended for single and two-family dwellings) The SP is for a 13,600 square foot mixed use building containing 2,000 square feet of restaurant space, 4,800 square feet of retail space and 6,800 square feet of office space http://www.nashville.org/mc/ordinances/ter.../bl2009_470.htm

timmay143 1044 Report post Posted July 10, 2009 Quickly scanned the article, and it sounds like good news. The developers sound like they really want to impact the neighborhood in a beneficial way. Wish more developers were like this.
