Milford Boardwalk Plans on Hold

The city is trying to get the state to see that this is a vital economic development issue and not something that should be on hold due to the budget concerns.

Walnut Beach stakeholders are forming a seven-member commission to give community input for the redevelopment project:

  • 2 chosen by Milford aldermen

  • 2 chosen by Mayor Richetelli

  • 3 chosen by the Walnut Beach Association

The CT Department of Public Works will still take care of the actual project management.
