Green initiatives in Nashville

* A new garage was opened for Metro at the Fulton campus.. which includes 2 charging stations for electric vehicles, provided by Green Power Technology

* Metro is partnering with the Land Trust to develop an Open Space Plan for Davidson County. This will address the strategic conservation and creation of green space, by both public and private sectors, in an effort to protect the unique landscape of Middle Tennessee.

Karl Dean wants to make Nashville more "greener." In fact the most green city in the SE. Sounds good, but I haven't read much besides expanding greenways, four large parks in the corners of the county, and preserving land in the bends.
