First one is the old Grands Rapids Chair, was Baker Furniture before it closed

Second is the old Water Treatment Plant from when the city drew it's supply from the Grand River, used as a summer peaking plant until it closed for good. Now offices and apartments.

GR Grid Girl was the lunch & learn goddess. She now has other priorities, and it would seem that no one's particularly interested in these events (otherwise there'd be clamor for them, yes?).

Rachel was great at doing them because she'd put them together basically free of charge (food would be donated), and she knew a lot of the people in the development community. If anyone's interested in starting them up again, that would be great!

I spoke with Rachel yesterday and she's interested in hosting some more lunch-n-learns. Anyone want to see anything in particular? 101 S. Division maybe?

Possibly combine 101 with a few others nearby ... new bike shop, even Mixtape would be kinda interesting.
