Future of the St Andrews PSD

Charleston is making a hard push to bring in the remainding parts of the St. Andrews PSD. First reading was voted this past week

to annex 17 more properties into the City. There's also some talk to merge the SAPSD Fire Dept. with the CFD. I wonder how much

longer the SAPSD can continue to exist? I'm thinking less than 3 years.

I posted this inthe SC forum, but felt it deserved to be in a Charleston thread as well. Charleston is even using facebook to solicit annexation.
