ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA YO!

1. Anchorage is home to the worlds tallest building to survive a magnitude 9 quake (1964 Anchorage Westward Hotel).

2. 2/3rds of the cities population moves in/out of Anchorage in 5 years time.

3. Stevens International Airport in Anchorage is North America's busiest cargo airport.

4. mthqNetworks are based in Anchorage

5. Anchorage is America's largest city in terms of the amount of land used.

6. Anchorage is surrounded by the Chugach Mountains, military reserved land, a wildlife refuge, as well as Cook Inlet.

7. i can't think of more.. but i know theyre out there!!

Awesome but....

2/3rds of the cities population moves in/out of Anchorage in 5 years time? eh? but those that have established residency get to collect that fat check every year huh? well as long as they spend sometime back in Alaska every year?
