cityboi appreciate the post about the airport, it has to be one of the most bizarre buildings for public use ever, the symbolism is crazy, not sure what's going on, but the underground construction has yet to be explained.

Yes that airport is weird.

While some believe the world will literally end on the Dec 2012 date, others say that the Mayans meant that date would be the start of a chain reaction leading to the end. 2012 may not be the year, but how about 2040?

Scientists are saying that a massive asteroid being tracked could hit earth in 2040. In fact they believe it will come so close the science community is trying to figure out ways to deflect it.

Some are saying Nostradamus predicted a major world disaster. One of his quatrains reads:

Again it has also been pointed out that the Large hadron collider looks very similar to the Mayan Calendar which has an end date in December 21, 2012. CERN has declared that the Large Hadron Collider will run through to the end of 2012. Somewhere around December 2012 the LCH will engage in 14 TeV experiments that is needed to call forth the apparition of the missing Higgs Boson predicted by Quantum Theory. At this energy level there will also be called forth an unknown number of new particles, as well as the predicted appearance of black holes. Others say that the eating habit of the black holes may be exponential, which will give the microscopic black holes the opportunity to survive and feed off the surrounding matter, in this case planet Earth. Should we really be messing with a science we don't know too much about? Are we playing with fire? If scientist do indeed open up a black hole with no way to stop it, hiding in underground bunkers won't do you any good. Black holes rip matter up by atoms.

As we approach the Mayan date of December 21, 2012 (one month away), there is a MAJOR military build up between Israel and Gaza. Many speculate this conflict will eventually involve Iran. It's possible Iran may already be behind the attacks, at least indirectly. If Israel and Iran go to war it will be World War III. The United States would help defend Israel by attacking Iran. That puts the United States into a sticky situation because Russia and China both back Iran and Russia has already told the U.S. to leave Iran alone. In essence if Russia helps defend Iran, they would be against the United States. Other nations in the Middle East such as Egypt have also vowed to help defend an attack from Israel. All hell could break lose in the Middle East. Time well tell whether or not this conflict gets out of control and leads to a world war. Israel has been itching to attack Iran and this conflict could be the excuse to do so. But an Israel-Iranian war is the perfect recipe for a World War 3 because of who the super power allies are on each side. Want to know how serious this conflict is? A missile hit just outside of Jerusalem and It is the first Palestinian-fired missile to land near the city since 1970. It also hit closer to Jerusalem than the 1970 attack. Rocket warnings have gone off in Jerusalem and thats the first time that has ever happened.

The world will go on after 12/21/2012 just like it did after Y2K. The question is will there be some crazy loonies or terrorists out there who will try to make it a self-fulfilling prophecy?
