I totally forgot to post about this but about a month ago in our weekly free paper in Greer, a woman who had been outspoken against sidewalks for hwy 209, aka Locust Hill Rd; yes, I did say against claimed victory when county council decided to drop the idea of improvements to that road which included sidewalks, due to her vocal opposition. So, instead of seeing people be able to walk, jog and ride bikes without taking their life in their own hands we will continue to see brave souls walk on thin narrow strips of grass right next to cars whizzing by; all thanks to this woman, whos name escapes me at the moment. Lets here it for ignorance and the perpetuation of obesity. Woo Hoo!
