i'm just hoping it doesn't end up like their existing properties.... strip mall type developments.... i hope they take this opportunity on west end to make an impact.

There had been talk years ago of a Ritz Carlton going in that general area, but Marriott Corporation who owns the namesake Ritz Carlton decided Nashville was not the market for that scale of property. However, things and times have changed. I am not insinuating that is what is going there, but another upscale hotel property would go very nice there. Remember across the street Michael Schmerling owns some property. When the time is right, something good will go on that corner.
