www.ctbuh.org is a great site along with Next American City which is another great resource. Some of the interesting information are lists like these:

The top 100 skyscrapers under construction are all over 1000 feet with some in the 2000-3500 foot range! (None in the USA)

The top 100 skyscrapers proposed are all over 100 feet. (None in the USA)

If Tony had built Signature Tower it would be the 28th tallest building in the world!

Check those sites out.
