Publix on the way can Macy's be on the horizion?

As suspected Publix in bringing an upscale grocery market to Clarksvegas. Can a Macy's be on the horizion for Clarksville as well? Along with better restuarants like Carrabbas, Famous Dave, Bone Fish, and Chop House, Clarksville is poised for growth finally in the right direction.

Upscale? From there being 3 Publix Supermarkets here within city limits, I believe it's safe to say when the one in Clarksville is built, you will be disappointed to find out the store is nothing but a Food Lion(or Bi-Lo) gone green.

It is frustrating that Clarksville has always had to fight the stigma of being a lower income city due to our proximity to Ft. Campbell. Actually, Clarksville's per capita income is one of the best in the state. And, the Hilldale/Sango areas (where the first Publix will replace the old Gateway hospital) has an even higher income base, similar to more upscale neighborhoods in Nashville. So, the support is there. We just have to get the retail.

I'm just excited about finally getting a Dick's Sporting Goods (opening by Fall at Governor's Square Mall).
