Downtown Orlando Project Discussion

I love it. Now I'd like to see the city spruce up Constitution Green and make it more park like.

What would you like to see? Is this an active park with outdoor fitness equipment, a splashpad or playground?  Or a passive park with benches and internal trails? Should it be set up as an event lawn with power connections? Should it get restroom facilities?

Yeah, you know, I wonder if this changes anything for Pizzutti's plans on The Sevens.

And, I would think that between Highwood properties and CNL, one of those two powerhouses would be next as well.

Driving down I-4 this weekend and pretty sure that the concord Lexington apartments are under construction. There is definitely heavy machinery and construction going on. Any one else see or able to confirm?

5 - story just over 100 units.

Yes. I've gotten a bunch of e-mails about it and just keep forgetting to post. (well forgetting to take a picture...I'll head over today :) )

Anyone know if the pedestrian overpass will be at just Orange & Colonial or will it also be at Magnolia & Colonial for cyclists heading north?

Just colonial....we have a map in our original story on Bungalower -->> http://bungalower.com/2014/03/colonial-drive-pedestrian-bridge-to-connect-urban-trail-to-downtowns-gertrudes-walk/

As of that time they didn't have the money yet for phase 4.
