Looks like the lot next to the Jackson is for sale. I believe this was originally Phase 3 of 420/520 - guess they're going to stick with Phase 2 and be done with it. Wonder if there will be any interest from anyone for this lot.

Market is still hot so I'm sure people will be interested. Just hope that Citi taking longer to get to a solid occupancy # and Modera about to hit the market doesn't keep this lot from sitting empty for years.

Hopefully, they just needed to free up some cash to help finance Phase 2.  Too bad they won't be involved with Phase 3.  I think they did a great job with 420.

Construction Staging for Phase II.  Right now nothing is solidified for that spot.

Travel lodge update from GS -

Developer has filed a master plan that would be divided between Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites (both Hilton brands).  Subject to change.

Pland include small dining establishment semi-attached where city diner is.

They are working with nearby garages for mandatory valet to meet parking demand.

Expected to hit MPB in July/August.

Proposed height is 100 feet along Magnolia and 76 feet on the east side

Article also says they are making it brick so that is a huge upgrade for the area and should blend well with the church.

With this project and Radius, that corner will forever be transformed from the desolate wasteland that it currently is...kinda...

Whichever diner/coffee shop they go with, I think I'd like to see it where the City Diner is now, on the ground floor and in it's own traditional diner style building. Something like a rooftop lounge or other type restaurant would be nice, though.

Totally agree, maybe even have it on both sides of the plaza connected via skybridge.

Many good ideas. Unfortunately the OMA PPL have not said any word since their last imposed deadline of 18 months. Not even Bungalower knows.
