Reading their website/facebook, looks delicious.  But it continues the trend of "things we already have".  Within a 10 minute walk from there, we have both Bakery Plus and Dunkin.

We don’t have a cute-trendy donut shop though.  Bakery Plus could be that with a few coats of paint and may be regretting that they didn’t

Better than an empty lot I suppose.  Fun fact that I just discovered while looking up to see if that corner was city or county (it's city if you were wondering), the access road to Publix a block north has a name. "Southern Fruit Ln"

I saw that too - would be great if they could make that entrance way nice for bike/ped - tough with loading dock but not impossible

- drive through outparcel had a pending lease

- 600 additional square feet are leased in the pending lease on the north center building with Global Mattress

- The 1250 sq ft lease pending in the old version in the strip with Jimmy Johns is now a 2600 sq ft lease pending on the end.

A whole corridor of MU (Medium Intensity Mixed Use Corridor District) and AC-2 (Urban Activity Center District) zoning, and all landowners can come up with are one-story strip malls and drive-throughs.

There’s not a lot of depth.   A previous proposal at 2121 S Orange had explored an automated parking deck to make townhomes work.

Ideally Orange and Michigan could have bought that strip to the east and even some homes to do something more prominent

@Mark Baratelli if you want to write on this the address now seems to be 211 E Michigan (old Cricket) and at least one permit open (DET2018-10141) that actually paints a bad picture of owner in the wording even though I totally get what they are going for
