Their sausages and bacon and all that they made in house were excellent. The smoked turkey was really good too, used it for sandwiches a lot.

Overall I liked it but I never felt I could do all my shopping there for some reason. It didn't help that one time recently at the Colonial one there were 18 people in line with 0 non-self check outs open. And their system gets prices wrong a lot so it was a mess.

Will Lucky’s Corner need a new name?

I can’t imagine them keeping it.  The logo itself is Lucky’s style.   Even if they changed that, it’s a weird omen to keep around.

The project was originally named Southside Shoppes.

I figured you’d like that but it might put the kibash on one over in the Hourglass.

I doubt they'd put one over here anyway.

That old empty Walgreen's isn't in a retail-heavy enough location according to the requirements they list on their website.

Besides, I'm hoping for a Dollar Tree in that spot.

I'm still waiting for both companies to call me regarding my preferences.

They said that about Dr Phillips and we got two across from each other.   We'll see.

I'd find it hard to think they'd put just another Publix over there. The SoDo Publix is busy but not overflowing. A GreenWise could make sense - especially given the trajectory SoDo development has been headed (young professionals, health and wellness conscious, etc).

Look at Dr. Phillips and Winter Park as places that it would make sense to build a GreenWise, but just got 2nd Publixes right across from each other.   In fact the 2nd Dr. Phillips was planned to be a Greenwise, but it ended up as just a Publix.  I'm not saying you're wrong, but Publix has shown that they'll put two regular stores next to each other or across the street instead of building a GreenWise.  I know Publix has been slow to roll out new GreenWise so I wouldn't be getting my hopes up too much.
