Bonus shots of the ONLY Carvana tower not located on a major freeway or Interstate in the USA   Only here in the QC can you take a train to the Carvana tower and pick out your car and drive off.  One way ticket only needed.

Novel LoSo is coming along and hopefully office development will happen soon after.  This is a great location in my opinion for a large office building due to LYNX and location in a lesser congested park of Southend with easier access to 77. 

Ryan Homes townhomes coming south on S Tryon and Yorkshire. 

and Dan Ryan Builders ( different company owned by the Japanese owners of Crescent) with their townhome development which is very walkable to LYNX station too.  At Freeland and S Tryon. 

Novel LoSo apartments rising. 

and the only Carvana I have found in the country not along an interstate or freeway

One of our own breaking the news that Stax sold to a residential developer out of Houston.  They have an interesting mix of suburban and urban development so it'll be interesting to see what their plans look like

1. 3 story proposed site of entertainment building is this still happening now?? 

2. . Lidl site.  Just saw where in Atlanta across from a Krispy Kreme they are building an office building with a ground floor Lidl wish that could happen here.

A $40M office tower with discount grocer Lidl could revitalize Ponce de Leon - Atlanta Business Chronicle (bizjournals.com)

3.4.. New Dan Ryan townhomes walking distance to the station.

5.6. new Ryan Homes (different builder) townhome site along S Tryon

7. New mini storage warehouse.  I guess all those apartment dwellers need places to store their extra junk.

This apartment complex is massive yet looks "small" from Old Pineville. Looks like the main entrance is off E Cama St and I have always wondered how that side looks.

Lots of new residents coming to this area with this complex, the Novel complex at LoSo, and all of the townhomes under construction in the surrounding blocks.

I heard from a realtor friend that the LoSo Walk townhomes at S. Tryon and Freeland are canceling contracts with buyers and what has already been built will be torn down.

Can confirm. Friend of a friend was under contract on one to be built and they cancelled it. Wonder what happened.

From what I understand, the land is being sold and for rent townhomes will be built there instead.

Must be more of a profit in building rentals versus for sale townhomes.....

that could be the case rental townhomes but not sure why they tear anything down.   we need more for sale product intown like townhomes.  Ryan homes in building right near that site.  I would not think this has anything to do with Fulcrum condos being built.

This is just a rumor but supposedly they did not receive the proper permitting to build 4 stories

Speculating on whether there's some slackening in demand for this type of for-sale product in South End.  Hopefully not.

absolutely not from what I have seen.  if they built it wrong that is one thing but I just check their website Dan Ryan homes and they are still advertising the community.

Lidl is still committed to its site on South Blvd.  still no proposed opening date.  From the Biz Journal

""Lidl also is moving forward with plans for a store on South Boulevard — though no timetable is available for when that store may open. The grocer is currently in the permitting process for that location, just north of Clanton Road in an area that's come to be known as lower South End.  That store will be on a 4.3-acre parcel. Property records show Lidl paid $4.9 million for the land in 2016. Signs for the grocer went up soon after, but the project stalled.  Plans filed last May now call for a roughly 31,000-square-foot store. A new traffic signal will be added along South Boulevard, along with a southbound turn lane.""
