Groupon, MooLaLa and Others

Hi Everyone,

Was a Spartanburger and now live in Greenville. Are folks in Spartanburg signed onto the coupon web services that are so popular now? I had not heard of them until I moved here, so curious. Seems like these are a great way to let people know about local/area businesses.

They seem to be growing at huge rates - it's kind of hit or miss whether or not you'll like the deals, but there is no cost to sign up. I ate at a local restaurant in Landrum last summer after seeing a coupon on Restaurant.com, so I say anything that pushes people towards local businesses and saves you money at the same time is a win-win.

Moolala is going to be very interesting in that they pay you back for purchases that you, and those who sign up under you, make. I also like the fact that they want to "give away more money than any other company in history." (see link to article)

I heard about Moolala about a month (see my signature below) and am very excited about it.
