Griffin Technology / Sawtooth building

6 posts in this topic

Griffin Technology (which, I had no idea was a Nashville company - they make a lot of good phone accessories) has moved their offices into an old warehouse near the fairgrounds known as the Sawtooth building.

Pretty amazing renovation they did to what most people would have likely just torn down.

There is a youtube video in the article.. cool stuff!

Saw one of my friends who is a global account exec @ Griffin when at the Art Crawl, they moved in last Monday. He said it's a pretty remarkable building, especially given they left the ceilings in the same architectural shape as original.

I wish more companies would do this rather than build out in the suburban sprawl mess we call the "Office Park." Kudos to this company or what they did. I would love to work for a company like this with an urban renewal concience.
