Ketchikan, Alaska...Part II i think?

Urbanguy - how come even though Ketchikan isn't connected by road to the rest of Alaska, you see quite a few cars in these pictures?

Looks pretty scenic to me, though the somewhat haphazard way it is build reminds me of a leftover gold rush town that's still kept alive - in fact it could be as it is in Alaska - I also see the diamonds store in one of the pics.

Yeah, Diamonds International - Tanzanite is probably some other gemstone.

BTW I love those shots of the homes right next to a river and boardwalk.
