Downtown Urban Farm

Southron

Recommended Posts

The Hampstead Institute recently opened a new 2.7-acre urban farm on the riverfront next to the Montgomery Advertiser building. The farm will grow produce for local residents and restaurants.

Other features planned for the farm are "u-pick" orchards, community planting beds, a star-gazing hill, wildflower area, gathering area and children's learning area - which will be named in Honor of Montgomery's late City Planner Ken Groves.
